About

I have spent my entire life working in textiles and product development. This is a very unique fabric store.

Growing up in a New England mill town I spent years traipsing through old factories and fabric mills with my mother. Searching. Exploring. Learning.

I was obsessed with fabric, sewing, and making things. At 15 years old I started working for a 7th Avenue better dress manufacturer at a factory in Lowell, Massachusetts, and worked my way through every department eventually ending up in the company's New York City showroom while I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Graduating from FIT with a degree in Fashion Design and a solid background in textile technology and apparel engineering, my career was launched.

For about ten years I worked for large corporations traveling the world as a Product Manager, designing new products, sourcing fabric and trim, and finding factories for apparel production, mainly in the Far East and the United States.

Following my tenure as Vice President of Design & Marketing for a large American knitwear manufacturer, I set out on my own and started a small business manufacturing Irish Linen Curtains that I designed for The Garnet Hill Catalog, a natural fibers company located in Franconia, New Hampshire.

In addition to curtains, the business grew to include other home textiles products such as pillows, bedskirts, duvet covers, and even wooden curtain rod sets. The Colonial Williamsburg Catalog and the Land of Nod Catalog became customers.

Over the thirteen years I ran the business I accumulated a lot of samples, fabric, and trim that I began selling on eBay in 2002, and that's how "zeetzeet" began.

Now I search the textile market for well designed high quality American and Japanese fabrics that I sell online mainly through Etsy. and sometimes on eBay. I supply over 250 small businesses with fabric and I ship daily all over the world.

My studio is located in a former art gallery in the iconic New England coastal town of Hull, Massachusetts. Nantasket Beach is home to the infamous Paragon Park, wonderful restaurants, cafes, a thriving art community, and of course, stunningly beautiful beaches and sunsets.

As a family, we like to travel to major cities like New York, Tokyo, and London to poke around and see what's trending. Some of the fabric photos you may notice were taken in New Zealand, our favorite winter destination of late.

I spend 40 minutes photographing, color correcting, and writing a description for EACH fabric design I sell. "Exactly as described" is frequently left in the comments, along with "Nicely packaged" and "Super fast shipping".

I am happy to continue to connect with some of the most super-creative and talented designers, quilters, textile lovers, collectors, fabric sellers, and entrepreneurs around the world. This is the true joy of my life and my motivation for being on the computer all hours of the day and night 'till it's morning in Australia and way to late to still be up here in Greater Boston, Massachusetts!
