ESSEX 45" Wide Linen Cotton IVORY Fabric by Robert Kaufman by the Yard or Half Yard - Good for Face Mask Lining

By the YARD or HALF YARD - Beautiful, soft ESSEX 55% Linen 45% Cotton lightweight (6 oz. per square yard) Linen/Cotton sheeting in the color IVORY manufactured by Robert Kaufman Fabrics. Multiple yardage will be continuous. This is an excellent apparel/quilting weight fabric that can be used for clothing, accessories, table linens, toys, home textiles, etc. It absorbs dye very well and has sold in great quantity on eBay for making Renaissance costumes. It was also used to manufacture period curtains for Colonial Williamsburg.

FACE MASK LINING:
I have been recommending this fabric for non-medical face mask lining. It has a soft, luxurious hand, not too thick or too thin. It is recommended that you prewash it and dry at hottest setting to preshrink it before cutting for masks. The shrinkage rate is 4-5%, whereas the printed cotton fabrics I sell are less than 1%.
